Seidel Gets Paid After Hitting Trip Queens on the River

Level 5 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Erik Seidel opened for 5,000 and Pedro Garagnani called from the big blind.

The flop came {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}{3-Hearts} and both players tapped the table.

On the {4-Spades} turn, which put two flush draws on the board, both players took nearly their full 30 seconds before opting to check.

The {q-Hearts} put three hearts and a pair on the board and Garagnani decided to put out a bet of 23,000, twice the amount of the pot. Seidel would need only about 20 seconds before making the call. The Brazilian could only show a black {10-}{8-} while Seidel turned over {q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for trip queens and the win.
