Orpen Gets Value On River

Level 7 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Orpen Kisacikoglu
Orpen Kisacikoglu

Mikita Badziakouski opened to 5,500 from under the gun and both Steve O'Dwyer in the cutoff and Orpen Kisacikoglu in the big blind made the call.

The flop came {j-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}, Kisacikoglu and Badziakouski checked to O'Dwyer who continued for 5,000 and only Kisacikoglu came along.

Both players checked their options on the {4-Diamonds} turn and the {2-Clubs} rolled off on the river. Kisacikoglu led for 15,000 and without much thought, O'Dwyer flicked in a chip for the call. Kisacikoglu tabled {10-Spades}{9-Spades} for middle pair, enough to take down the pot when O'Dwyer mucked.

Petrangelo Scores Big Pot vs. Greenwood

Level 7 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Nick Petrangelo
Nick Petrangelo

Nick Petrangelo opened from the button to 5,000 and Sam Greenwood three-bet from the big blind to 15,000. Petrangelo called.

The flop came {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{q-Spades} and Greenwood dropped in a continuation bet of 20,000. Petrangelo made the call.

The turn brought the {3-Clubs} and Greenwood fired a second barrel, this time for 55,000. Petrangelo took his full 30 seconds and called once more.

The {6-Hearts} completed the board and both players would take their full 30 seconds before tapping the table. Greenwood showed {j-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for a missed flush draw and Petrangelo flipped over {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs} for two pair, in addition to a missed flush draw.

Petrangelo remarked "I could have really won it" after seeing Greenwood was nearly the victim of a flush-over-flush situation.

Steve O'Dwyer

Motoyoshi Okamura opened from early position to 6,000 and Orpen Kisacikoglu three-bet to 18,000 from the button, Steve O'Dwyer four-bet from the big blind and Kisacikoglu shoved for around 120,000. O'Dwyer snap-called.

Orpen Kisacikoglu: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Steve O'Dwyer: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}

O'Dwyer had Kisacikoglu crushed with aces against tens, also taking away any flush potential as he held the same suits.

The flop came {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{j-Diamonds} to give Kisacikoglu some backdoor straight potential but the {a-Diamonds} turn had him drawing dead.

The {7-Hearts} completed the board and O'Dwyer took his chip stack to just under 500,000.
