Stephen Chidwick opened to 50,000 from the hijack and Andre Akkari defended from the big blind.
Akkari checked on the flop of and Chidwick bet a big 75,000. Akkari called. Akkari checked again on the turn and Chidwick checked back.
Akkari checked a third time on the river and Chidwick quickly checked back. Akkari was probably hoping his opponent would fire a bet as he turned over to win the pot.
Johannes Straver opened in middle position before Arthur Conan three-bet jammed a stack of about 150,000 from the button. Stephen Chidwick thren three-bet jammed out of the big blind and Straver called off with 560,000

Straver's queens stayed ahead as the board ran out for the Dutchman to more than double, send Conan to the rail and take a chunk out of Chidwick's recently acquired stack.
At the next table over, Saar Wilf was eliminated after running queens into the kings of Daewoong Song in what seems to be a recurring trend today.
Philippe Narboni opened from the cutoff and Artur Martirosian three-bet jammed a stack of 350,000 from the small blind. Narboni snap-called with 300,000 when the action got around.

It was full circle as earlier in the night Martirosian had kings to bust Leonard Maue with queens on the money bubble. The flop of gave Narboni a set to have the Russian drawing nearly dead before the runout of that improved Narboni to a full house.
Martirosian thought he might be covered but ended up sitting back down when he realized he had two big blinds left.
Stephen Chidwick has bided his time in the middle of the pack most of the day, but in the last couple of levels he's built up his stack and is now using it to his advantage.
After Yannick Cardot opened under the gun to 40,000, Chidwick three-bet to 125,000 from the cutoff.
Cardot came back with a five-bet to 300,000, but Chidwick then six-bet all in and Cardot quickly folded, as Chidwick becomes the latest player to cross the million chip mark.
