Turn Bet Takes it for Stegeman

Level 3 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

Enrico Coppola opened to 1,800 and Feliciano Rosano called from the small blind. Albertus Stegeman three-bet to 4,000 and Coppola and Rosano both stuck around with a call.

The dealer spread a flop of {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{5-Spades} that was checked around to the {a-Spades} turn. Rosano checked again but Stegeman threw in a bet of 3,600, that was enough to claim the pot.

Level 3 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante
Tim Chung
Tim Chung

The board on the turn was {7-Clubs}{8-Spades}{6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}, and faced with a bet of 2,200 from cutoff Christian Jeppsson, hijack Timothy Chung put in a check-raise to 6,500.

Jeppsson looked slightly puzzled at the move, but ended up making the call and the heads-up players saw the river {9-Hearts}.

Then Chung stuck out a big bet of 30,000, enough to cover Jeppsson's remaining stack of 25,000. Jeppsson looked pained at his decision but eventually tossed his cards into the muck to award the pot to Chung. Chung now has one of the bigger stacks in the room with 55,000.

Berndsen Doubles Up

Level 3 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

With around 21,000 in the pot, Sander Berndsen shoved his remaining 13,200 chips on a {7-Clubs}{4-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{9-Spades} board.

Morgan Aceto, who has cashed both the ESPT Main Event and the ESPT High Roller here in Barcelona, then went into the tank for nearly four minutes, asking Berndsen a series of questions trying to get something from him. Berndsen remained motionless and did not respond whatsoever.

Eventually, Aceto would make the call and showed {a-Spades}{5-Clubs}. Berndsen tabled {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades} and received a full double up.
