Mosca Shoves on the Champ, Shows the Bluff

Level 23 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Enrico Mosca
Enrico Mosca

Simon Brandstrom, the defending champion from 2019, raised to 50,000 from the hijack as Enrico Mosca and Sergi Panella Navarro came along from the blinds.

The flop came {2-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{2-Spades} and action checked to Brandstrom, who continued for 55,000. Only Mosca called as Panella Navarro got out of the way.

Brandstrom bet another 175,000 on the {3-Spades} turn and Mosca again called as the {6-Diamonds} appeared on the river.

Mosca this time moved all in for around 350,000. Brandstrom, with around the same amount behind, went into the tank and used a time bank card before mucking.

Mosca showed {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts} for a missed flush draw to a round of "wows" from the table.

Lopez Scores Huge Pot With Ace-High

Level 23 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

A massive pot took place on table six between Daniel Merrilees and Emmanuel Lopez. The pot had just over 1,500,000 in the middle on a completed board of {9-Clubs}{6-Spades}{4-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}.

Merrilees took awhile before checking from under the gun over to Lopez in the cutoff, who also took roughly a minute before checking back. Both players were hesitate to show but Lopez eventually tabled {a-Spades}{8-Hearts} for ace-high and Merrilees looked at the board and back at his cards before turning over {a-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for a missed flush draw and also ace-high.

Lopez's kicker played to scoop the massive pot and inch closer to the chip lead.

"Good value," one tablemate said to Lopez as he stacked his chips.

Lopez laughed and jokingly replied "I would've called a jam."
