Hecklen Takes From Watson

Level 15 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Henrik Hecklen opened the action to 50,000 from the cutoff and both Seth Davies and Mike Watson called from the blinds.

The flop came {7-Hearts}{6-Spades}{4-Hearts} and all players checked to the {4-Diamonds} turn. Davies checked and Watson tossed out 50,000, which both players made the call.

On the {3-Diamonds} river Davies checked to Watson who assembled a bet of 225,000. Hecklen took a moment but flicked in a chip for the call and Davies quickly folded. Watson tabled {10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} for ten-high and missed straight draw while Hecklen rolled over {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs} for rivered straight and the winner.

Petrangelo Busts Vaskaboinikau

Level 15 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Nick Petrangelo raised to 50,000 from the button before Mikalai Vaskaboinikau moved all in for 275,000 in the small blind. Petrangelo gave it some thought before calling.

Mikalai Vaskaboinikau: {j-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Nick Petrangelo: {a-Clubs}{6-Clubs}

The {a-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} flop was a disaster for Vaskaboinikau as Petrangelo made top pair. Vaskaboinikau was already standing up from his seat as the board ran out {4-Hearts}{q-Spades}, sending him to the rail.

The remaining 16 players are now redrawing for seats at the final two tables.

Peters Hits Miracle Turn To Stay Alive

Level 15 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

The action was picked up after all the chips were in the middle preflop between David Peters and Lucas Greenwood. Peters was the player at risk for his roughly 500,000 stack, but not by much as Greenwood had only one big blind more.

David Peters: {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}
Lucas Greenwood: {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

The flop came {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}, rocketing Greenwood in the lead until the {5-Diamonds} peeled off on the turn giving Peters the card he needed. The inconsequential {6-Spades} completed the board and Peters found a full double up, leaving Greenwood with only 30,000.

Greenwood Busts, Heath Wins Big Off Peters

Level 15 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Ben Heath
Ben Heath

David Peters raised to 55,000 and Lucas Greenwood put in his last 25,000. Ben Heath called in the big blind and they went three ways to the {j-Spades}{5-Spades}{q-Spades} flop.

Heath checked and Peters bet 25,000. Heath called as the {j-Clubs} came on the turn. Peters bet another 40,000, and this time Heath raised to 140,000.

Peters called to see the {6-Diamonds} river, when Heath bet 390,000. Peters went into the tank for a moment before calling.

Heath showed {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} for trip jacks as Greenwood had {2-Spades}{2-Diamonds} to bust. Peters flashed {a-}{q-} before mucking the massive pot.

Jean Noel Thorel

Paul Phua raised to 60,000 before Timothy Adams made it 140,000 from the button. In the big blind, Jean-Noel Thorel moved all in for around 500,000, Phua folded, but Adams called.

Jean-Noel Thorel: {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Timothy Adams: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}

The {10-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{5-Clubs} flop gave Adams top pair and Thorel an open-ended straight draw. The {5-Spades} came on the turn and Thorel was already standing up from his seat as the river came the {3-Diamonds}, sending him to the rail.

Dvoress is Adams' Next Victim

Level 16 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Timothy Adams has busted another player, and this time it was fellow Canadian Daniel Dvoress as he had Dvoress all in and at risk for his last 320,000 pre-flop.

Daniel Dvoress: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}
Timothy Adams: {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

Both players hit the {5-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{q-Hearts} flop, with Dvoress making top two pair. But Adams had flopped a set and left Dvoress drawing to an ace, which failed to come on the {8-Hearts}{10-Spades} turn and river to send him to the rail.

Erik Seidel bet 55,000 on a flop of {q-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{8-Spades} and was called by Teun Mulder.

The turn came the {3-Diamonds} and they got the rest of Mulder's 330,000 in the middle. Seidel had {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for top pair, while Mulder showed {k-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}.

The {7-Spades} fell on the river to improve Mulder to trips as he stayed alive.
