Wurtz Gets Called with Worse

Level 17 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

On a completed board of {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{5-Spades}{8-Clubs}, big blind Kasper Wurtz had bet 26,000 into a pot of around 85,000, and the action was now on Kevin Bergeron in late position.

"It's cheap. Very cheap, considering what's in there," Wurtz said, seeming to entice a call.

And it worked as Bergeron threw in a calling chip shortly after.

"I have a house," Wurtz announced.

"House is good," replied Bergeron as he prepared to muck. Wurtz then tabled his {8-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for a rivered full house with the eight.

"Wow you hit it on the river, eh?" Bergeron remarked as he threw in his cards and Wurtz was pushed the pot.
