Boudaouine Rivers a Pair

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Florian Montes raised to 12,000 on the button and Fahd Boudaouine re-raised to 26,000 from the small blind. The big blind folded and Montes called as the dealer fanned the flop of {10-Clubs}{9-Spades}{6-Spades}.

Boudaouine led out with a bet of 23,000 and Montes called. The turn brought the {5-Hearts} and both players checked to the {7-Clubs} on the river.

Boudaouine checked again and Montes quickly checked it back. Boudaouine turned over {a-Clubs}{7-Spades} for a rivered pair of sevens and that was good enough to earn him the pot.

Atoui Flushes Out Volkov

Level 16 : 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Kamel Atoui opened to 10,000 from under the gun and Ruslan Volkov three-bet to 37,000 on his left. The action folded back to Atoui who called to see a flop of {k-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{3-Diamonds}. It took very little time for the two players to get all of their chips in the middle with Atoui at risk for 103,000.

Kamel Atoui: {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}
Ruslan Volkov: {k-Spades}{j-Clubs}

The turn was the {j-Diamonds} to give Atoui a flush but Volkov still had outs with two pair. The river was the {a-Hearts} and Atoui held on to double up through Volkov.

Nguyen Coolers Segebrecht, Climbs to the Top

Level 16 : 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Picking up the action on the turn, Hung Nguyen and Claas Segebrecht were heads-up with over 100,000 chips in the pot already. The board read {q-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and Nguyen led out from early position with a bet of 65,000.

Segebrecht thought for a minute and then shoved all in for around 140,000. Nguyen snapped him off and turned over the superior hand.

Claas Segebrecht: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Hung Nguyen: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}

The river was the {3-Clubs} and Nguyen began to rap the table as he celebrated scooping a massive pot as the bubble approaches.

Kefalas Scoops Three-Way All-In

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Stephane Dossetto started with a limp in early position and Klas Kruger shoved all in for 34,000 on his left. Andrew Hulme was next to act and re-shoved all in. Teddy Kefalas looked down at his cards and also stuck in the last of his 120,000 chips as well. Dossetto folded his {8-}{8-} face up and the three remaining hands were tabled.

Klas Kruger: {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds}
Teddy Kefalas: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Andrew Hulme: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}

The board ran out {j-Spades}{2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{k-Diamonds} which proved to be clean Kefalas who doubled up through Hulme and eliminated Kruger in the process.

Last Break of the Night

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

The remaining 114 players are taking their second and final 20-minute break of the evening. The tournament staff will be racing off the 100 and 500 denomination chips at this time. When the players return, there will be roughly three to four more levels before the money bubble is reached.
