Akan Kaya limped in from middle position and Hossein Ensan called from the next seat over. A player in the cutoff made it 1,200 and both players called. The flop was {j-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{2-Spades} and all three players checked to see {7-Clubs} on the turn. Kaya bet 1,700 and Ensan called while the cutoff got out of the way. The river was {3-Diamonds} and both players checked before Ensan mucked after Kaya turned over {k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for a pair of tens. Ensan had just 5,000 remaining at the end of the hand.

A few hands later, Kaya raised to 1,200 and Ensan committed the rest of it. Kaya called to put him at risk.

Mastelotto Further Increases His Big Stack on Day 1b

Three ways to the {j-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{5-Spades}{2-Clubs}{k-Spades} river, Akan Kaya checked in the small blind and Gustavo Mastelotto made it 8,800 to go in the cutoff. Hicham Hachoumi on the button very reluctantly called and Kaya got out of the way.

Mastelotto tabled the {k-Clubs}{5-Clubs} for two pair, kings and fives, and that won the pot. The Brazilian moved up to three times the starting stack and has cemented his spot near the top of the leaderboard for now.
