Petrangelo Bets Almost Everything

Level 6 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Nicholas Petrangelo
Nicholas Petrangelo

Stephen Chidwick's stack has increased and it looks like he was responsible for the elimination of Sergi Reixach.

A few hands later, Nick Petrangelo completed his small blind and Chris Brewer raised it up to 7,000 from the big blind which Petrangelo called.

The flop came {k-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}, Petrangelo check-called the 10,000 continuation-bet of Brewer.

They both checked through the {a-Diamonds} on the turn to the {q-Diamonds} on the river. Petrangelo checked for the final time. Brewer fired a bet of 20,000 out for Petrangelo to take some time to consider his options. In the end, he raised it up to 92,000, keeping a 500-value chip behind. Brewer tanked for a bit but opted to fold in the end.

Sam Greenwood ended up getting his short stack of about 20,000 in from the big blind and was at risk against Matthias Eibinger in the small blind.

Matthias Eibinger: {q-Spades}{6-Diamonds}
Sam Greenwood: {q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}

The board ran out {j-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{10-Spades} and Greenwood paired his ten on the river to secure the double.

Davies Shoves on Pardo

Level 5 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Seth Davies opened to 4,000 in the hijack, Juan Pardo three-bet to 12,500 in the small blind, and Davies called.

Pardo led for 5,000 and Davies called on the {k-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} flop, as well as the {3-Spades} turn.

Pardo again led for 5,000 on the {6-Diamonds} river, and Davies put in chips to cover his remaining 23,000. Pardo thought about it but let go of his hand to concede the pot without a showdown.

Out and Back In

Level 5 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Timothy Adams and Sergi Reixach both busted around the same time and while the latter left the tournament area, the former has reentered and taken his seat on the same table as Sirzat Hissou, Daniel Dvoress, Matthias Eibinger, Sam Greenwood, Yuri Dzivielevski, and Pascal Lefrancois.

Vogelsang Spikes River to Double Through Reixach

Level 5 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Sergi Reixach opened to 4,000 in the cutoff, Christoph Vogelsang jammed for 55,500 in the big blind, and Reixach called.

Christoph Vogelsang: {a-Spades}{5-Clubs}
Sergi Reixach: {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}

The {9-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} flop and {6-Diamonds} turn kept Reixach ahead, but the {7-Clubs} river gave him a set he didn't want, as Vogelsang made a straight to secure the double.

O'Dwyer Folds to Chidwick on the River

Level 4 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Stephen Chidwick raised to 3,000 from the button and only Steve O'Dwyer made the call from the big blind.

The flop came {7-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{8-Clubs}, O'Dwyer check-called the 5,500 continuation-bet of Chidwick.

They both checked through the {6-Hearts} on the turn to the {10-Clubs} on the river. O'Dwyer checked for the final time and Chidwick decided to bet 10,000. Chidwick considered it for a bit but decided to let this hand go.
