Lam Flops Full House and Gets Paid
Level 7
: Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
Johane Soupin raised to 2,000 from under the gun. Ionut Nicolae called in the small blind and Jeffrey Lam called in the big blind.
The flop came 5♠6♥6♦. Action checked to Soupin, who continued for 3,500. Nicolae folded and Lam called. The turn was the Q♦. Lam checked and Soupin bet 5,000. Lam then moved all in and Soupin called with the bigger stack.
Soupin showed A♦Q♠ for two pair with his queens and the sixes on board. Lam showed 6♠5♣ for a full house, sixes full of fives.
The dealer flipped the river card, the 7♥. Lam held with his full house to win a decent pot that brought his chip count back up to over the starting stack.
