Bijen Wins Pot After Calling Flop Raise

Dennis Bijen raised to 500 from under the gun and picked up several callers, including Mercello Miniucchi in the small blind.

The flop came 10♥2♦3♣ and Bijen bet out 700. Miniucchi responded with a raise to 2,200. All other players vacated the pot, apart from Bijen who made the call.

Action slowed down on the A♥ turn as both players checked it back. The river was the 9♠ and both players checked again to showdown.

Bijen showed 10♣6♣ for a flopped pair of tens, which was enough to win the pot.

Action was on the flop on a board of 2♣4♦4♠. Kamel Boukhalfa checked and Igor Kaufman shoved all in with a relatively short stack. Boukhalfa quickly made the call and players flipped their cards, with Kaufman at risk.

Boukhalfa had ace-king high and Kaufman had flopped trip fours, leaving his opponent drawing incredibly thin. The turn came the J♦ and the river was the 5♦.

Two players went to the flop, which came 4♠3♥K♥. Samuelsson made it 1,700 to go and Benichou called.

The turn was the 8♦. Samuelsson checked and Benichou bet 11,500. Samuelsson folded and Benichou showed his hand, 9♠6♣ for a total bluff. Samuelsson tapped the table and Benichou took a gulp of his drink.

Kaufman checked to Boukhalfa on the 7♠7♦6♥ flop and he bet 1,700. only Miniucchi called.

Boukhalfa bet 2,400 after the 7♥ fell on the turn and Miniucchi raised to 5,000. Boukhalfa thought for a bit before folding and Miniucchi dragged the pot.
