Ibrahimi Eliminated as Callol Turns Trips

Ahmed Ibrahimi raised to 6,000 from early position, which was most of his stack. He was called by Robert Sanchez Callol. Ibrahimi then pushed his remaining 1,100 into the middle before the flop was dealt.

The flop came JA8 and Callol called the flop bet. The turn came the Q and the river was the 9.

Callol showed QQ for trip queens and scooped the pot. Ibrahimi was eliminated from the tournament.

The player in the hijack open raised and was called by David Ceranic in the small blind and Kalidou Sow in the big blind.

The flop came 8KJ and action checked to the original raiser, who made it 2,500 to go. Both Ceranic and Sow made the call.

The turn was the K and all three players checked to the river, which was the J. Ceranic checked and Sow bet out 5,000. The original raiser folded and Ceranic called.

Sow showed J5 for trip jacks to win the pot.

Bonefeld Keeps Betting

Sergi Martinez opened to 2,200 from the hijack and action folded to Carl Bonefeld on the button, who three-bet to 6,000. It was folded back around to Martinez, who called.

Martinez check-called a 4,500 bet from Bonfeld on the AK6 flop, but quickly let his hand go facing another bet from Bonfeld on the 9 turn.

Bonefeld has built up a nice stack in the early levels and currently sits with around 85,000.

The next hand, Antonio Poncio raised from early position and Georgopoulos moved all in again, this time for around 24,000. Poncio made the call and Georgopoulos found himself once again at risk against the bigger stack.
