Salah Amran opened to 2,700 on the button and was called by Omer Smidt in the small blind.

Smidt check-called a 4,000 bet from Amran on the 2♦10♥5♦ flop and then both players checked on the 5♠ turn.

Smidt checked once more on the J♥ river and Amran put 9,500 into the middle.

"Queen jack?" Smidt mused as he pondered a call.

Smidt eventually put in calling chips and Amran turned over A♣J♠ for jacks up. Smidt flash the 10♣ and mucked — conceding the pot to Amran.

Ekrem Atush opened to 3,500 first-to-act and was three-bet to 8,500 by Serz Aoun in the cutoff. Action folded back around to Atush, who called.

Atush check-called a 16,000 bet from Aoun on the 4♥5♥J♦ flop.

The 8♠ came on the turn and Atush checked again — prompting Aoun to shove for 90,000 total.

Atush went deep into the tank and asked for a count before turning over K♥8♥ and mucking his hand. Atush revealed the J♥ and collected the pot.

Frederik Johansen opened to 3,000 from the cutoff and was called by Philippe le Touche on the button.

Both players checked on the 7♣5♣Q♣ flop and then Johansen bet 7,500 on the J♠ turn. Le Touche called.

The Q♥ completed the board and Johansen fired a hefty 20,000 into the middle. Le Touche thought for a while but eventually decided to call and Johansen turned over K♥10♦. Le Touche tabled J♦8♥ for a winning pair of jacks and added to his big stack.
