Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Nicolas Maquerre opened to 30,000 on the button and Boris Kolev three-bet to 110,000 in the big blind. Maquerre called.

Kolev bet a small 50,000 on the flop of 493 and Maquerre called. Kolev then moved all in for around 200,000 on the 6 turn and Maquerre called with a bigger stack.

Boris Kolev: AK
Nicolas Maquerre: K9

Maquerre had out-flopped Kolev after being dominated preflop and the 4 river didn't change anything to mark Kolev's elimination.

Santiago Plante
Santiago Plante

Santiago Plante opened to 30,000 from the cutoff and Giacomo Raddi defended from the big blind.

The flop came 873. Raddi checked, Plante bet 65,000 and Raddi made the call.

Both players checked through the A turn to see the 9 river. Raddi bet 140,000 only for Plante to announce all in, putting Raddi to the test for his remaining stack of approximately 350,000. Raddi thought over his decision for approximately three minutes before making the call.

Raddi showed down 97 for a rivered two pair but Plante tabled J10 for the nut-straight to secure the elimination and catapult up the chip counts, surpassing two million chips in the process.

Theodoros Ampelikiotis at the same table has also recently surpassed two million chips, making himself and Plante among the biggest stacks in the tournament currently.

Martin Zamani made a large open to 80,000 from the hijack and Day 1c chip leader Theodoros Ampelikiotis three-bet to 250,000 from the small blind.

"Well obviously this was a mistake," Zamani joked, regarding the sizing he chose for his open. Shortly afterwards he made the call.

Both players checked the 3 turn leading to the 6 river. Ampelikiotis bet small this time for 60,000. Zamani made the call.

K.O. for Ko

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Mihai Trofim raised to 30,000 from under the gun and Hanseok Ko called from the next seat over before Marcos Diego came along from the cutoff. Not to be outdone, Roberto Silvani shoved his last 265,000.

Trofim got out of the way but Ko went deep into the tank before he emerged with a call. Diego gave it some thought, but he thought better of it and tossed his hand in the muck. Action was heads up and Silvani was at risk.
