Maerki Pipped By Brou
Level 6
: Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
In a three-way pot on a board of J♣3♦2♠, Stephane Brou bet 3,400 from early position and only Luca Maerki called on the button.
Brou sized up to 7,500 on the 5♣ turn and Maerki again called. Brou then checked on the Q♣ river and Maerki checked back.
Brou showed A♣J♠ for a pair of jacks with an ace kicker and Maerki shook his head as he showed K♦J♦ for the same pair with a king kicker.
