Ferrero and Alman checked on the 4♦8♠9♣ flop and both players checked again on the 4♥ turn. The A♠ river also checked through and Lafontaine proudly tabled A♥7♦ for a pair of aces. It was good as Ferrero showed 3♣3♦ and Alman showed Q♦10♥ as Lafontaine earned the triple up.
