Menicanin Flips Out Holmberg
Level 9
: Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Kim Holmberg was all in for around 18,000 from early position and up against Mario Menicanin in the big blind.
Kim Holmberg: A♥Q♠
Mario Menicanin: 9♥9♦
Needing to improve to avoid seeing his stack absorbed into Menicanin's, Holmberg watched as the dealer turned over 4♥J♣J♠2♥4♦. He failed to overcome Menicanin's two nines and was eliminated, while Menicanin took the pot to move up near 200,000.
