Macori Wakes Up With Queens For Massive Double
Level 15
: Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Silviu Baltateanu and Federico Macori got into a pre-flop raising war that ended with Macori all in for his last 118,000 from the big blind as Baltateanu had him covered in the hijack.
Federico Macori: Q♥Q♣
Silviu Baltateanu: J♠J♥
Macori was ahead with his queens and pulled further in front on the 8♦3♠Q♦ flop, hitting top set. Baltateanu was already drawing dead by the 6♣ turn and flung his arms in the air in frustration before paying off Macori on the A♣ river.
