Romeo Cracks Kings to Double

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Igor Dorozhkin bet 1,500 from the button on a flop of K1010 before small blind Charis Sisou raised to 3,700. Dorozhkin called and the 3 fell on the turn.

Sisou then continued for 5,000 and Dorozhkin tossed his hand away.

That pot was just a preliminary to what came immediately after. On the next hand at this table, Julien Montois raised to 1,000 in middle position, Fabio Romeo three-bet to 3,100 in the hijack, and Montois four-bet to 9,000.

Romeo called to see the 8J9 flop, where Montois bet 11,000. Romeo called and the Q fell on the turn.

Montois then checked and Romeo moved all in for 19,900. Montois spent a few minutes in the tank before calling and turning over KK, but Romeo had 109 for a straight.

The river came the 8 and Romeo doubled up.
