Rayhaan Makes the Right Call
Level 13
: Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Adam Rayhaan opened to 5,000 in middle position and Ahmed Ibrahimi defended out of the big blind.
Ibrahimi checked on the flop of J♣5♣A♠ and Rayhaan checked back. The 7♦ turn also checked through and Ibrahimi led out for 2,500 on the A♠ river. Rayhaan called. Ibrahimi showed 7♥3♦ for a pair of sevens, but it was no good against the pair of jacks of his opponent with J♠9♠.
