Nice Pot For Fournier

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante
Samuel Fournier
Samuel Fournier

Under the gun, Samuel Fournier raised to 500. He was called by Georges Azar in the cutoff. But on the button, Amirreza Arami three-bet to 2,600. Fournier and Azar called.

On the flop J24, Arami made a continuation-bet of 2,900. But this time, only Fournier called. Then both players checked on the turn 7.

The 6 came on the river, and Fournier decided to bet a very small 1,500. In front of him, Arami raised to 10,000. Fournier eventually called and won the pot because Arami mucked his cards.

On the next hand, Arami moved all in for 8,000 chips and was called by Stylianos Christodoulou.

Amirreza Arami: 99
Stylianos Christodoulou: JJ

Cristodoulou hit a set on 41026J to eliminate Arami.

At Antoine Labat’s table, Sebastian Hoyos in the cutoff opened to 700, but Serghei Lisii on the button three-bet to 2,200. Hoyos called, then checked on the flop 3Q9. But he eventually folded when Lisii made a continuation-bet to 1,800.

On the next hand, Hoyos raised again to 700, and only Christos Hadjisoteriou in the big blind called. Both of them checked on the flop 6108. But on the turn 2, Hadjisoteriou took the lead and bet 1,000.

Hoyos made the call. As both players checked, there was no more action with the river 3. Hadjisoteriou flipped his cards and showed 44. Enough to make Hoyos fold.

Petrea And Bochkarev Split

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

After an open by the hijack to 800, which was called by the cutoff and the small blind, Dan Petrea in the big blind squeezed to 4,400, and made everybody fold.

On the next hand, Petrea limped from the small blind, so Yury Bochkarev only had to check in the big blind to see the 9A8 on the flop.

Petrea checked, then called after Bochkarev bet 400. And when he fired a second barrel of 1,100 on the turn 8, Petrea called again.

But on the river 6, both players checked. Petrea revealed 76 and Bochkarev K6, so they split the pot.
