Takahiro Tsugu moved all in for 185,000 from the hijack. Orhan Ates rejammed from the small blind and the big blind got out of the way.

The 9♣9♣2♣ flop was of no help to Tsugu and had one foot out of the door after the 6♠ turn. A big smile then appeared on his face as the A♥ river gave him the winner.
Johnny Nedved raised to 55,000 from the cutoff. Anton Markov three-bet to 170,000 from the button and Nedved moved all in for 645,000. After some time in the tank, Markov made the call.

The board ran out J♥8♣8♠4♣10♣. Nedved flopped a full house, which earnt him the full double up.
Sergi Reixach opened to 55,000 from the cutoff before Damir Gabdullin jammed for 125,000 from the small blind. Jon Ander Vallinas min-raised to 195,000 from the big blind that folded Reixach.

Gabdullin was immediately drawing dead on the A♣J♣J♦ flop and his opponent made quads following the 5♠A♦ runout.
The pot had already swelled to over 900,000 with the full board reading 3♣4♥J♠6♣J♥. Karen Nazarian, in the big blind, moved all in for 400,000 and his tournament life. Alfred Nader, in middle position, went into the tank.
Nader thought for some time before making the call. Nazarian tabled K♥9♦ for just king high, while Nader slammed 5♦5♠ onto the felt, claiming one of the biggest pots of this tournament and sending Nazarian to the rail with just a pair of fives.
The players were one elimination away from a pay jump and action was moving slow. There were a few folds before it got to Luke Martinelli in the big blind. He took only a moment before announcing he was all in while having the big blind covered.
Mitchell Johnson was in the big blind and smiled as he checked his cards.
"This isn't a slow roll, its just the pay jump"
Martinelli smiled and the two exchanged some banter as they both understood the implications and the reason for the tank. Eventually the clock was called and after it was down to 10 seconds Johnson slammed in his remaining chips and the cards hit their backs.

The full board ran out 10♦4♥7♠7♦9♠ and Johnson would get the double to stay alive past the pay jump.
Armin Rezaei opened to 50,000 from under the gun and was called by Valeriy Pak and Alfred Nader from the hijack and cutoff. Zaid Noori also tagged along from the big blind.
The A♣9♣6♥ flop checked through to the A♥ turn. Rezaei bet 150,000 and only Pak called.
The K♠ river then checked through to showdown.
Rezaei tabled A♦10♦ for trips, and Pak flashed the K♥ before mucking.
Wael Sarkis opened to 50,000 in middle position before Xixiang Luo raised to 400,000, leaving just 40,000. Sarkis called thinking Luo was all in but was informed his opponent still had chips behind.
"Okay, all-in blind," said Sarkis as the dealer fanned the A♥Q♣7♣ flop. Luo hesitated but eventually committed his stack.

Luo had a gutshot to Broadway but was unable to improve as the board ran out with the 4♠A♣.
With 72 players remaining and 71 players receiving an extra pay jump, Harout Ghazarian took his time before moving all in for 80,000, from the cutoff. Johnny Nedved called in the small blind.
The action fell on Sonny Franco, in the big blind. Franco went into the tank, watching the tournament clock out of courtesy for Ghazarian. Thinking for several minutes, the player count did not budge and Franco chose to fold.
