Kopan Puts in the Check-Raise

Level 5 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante

Metin Kopan raised to 1,000 from the cutoff before action made it to Sergei Petrushevskii on the button who flat called and Aykutalp Yilmaz came along from the big blind.

The Q54 flop landed and action checked all the way to Petrushevskii on the button who bet out for 2,000. Yilmaz got out of the way but the original raiser, Kopan went into the tank.

After about a minute he put in a small check-raise to 5,000. That must have been enough as Petrushevskii quickly got out of the way and Kopan dragged the pot.

Aydin Holds with Queens

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

The action was three-ways on a flop showing 93J and a bet of 1,000 from Nick Van Bemmel on the button. Abulmuhsin Aydin raised to 2,000 in the small blind before Mitchell Johnson committed the rest of his short stack in the big blind.

Van Bemmel folded before Aydin tossed in the call, leaving Johnson at risk.

Mitchell Johnson: 52
Abulmuhsin Aydin: QQ

Aydin was well ahead, needing to dodge Mitchell's flush draw. The 6 brought Mitchell a straight draw, but the 6 river was no help to send his last chips to Aydin.
