Cappiello Doubles Through Simon

Level 5 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante

[Removed:553]: A2

Simon was dominated, but added some flush outs after the 983 flop. The 6 turn and 9 river, however, meant Cappiello survived to double up with his superior ace.

"It's never easy," he joked to the table.

Furu Oie Sticks Around and Takes it Down

Level 5 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante

Vidar Furu Oie opened the cutoff to 1,000 before getting called by Sergiu Covrig in the big blind.

The J210 flop hit the felt and action quickly checked through to an 8 turn.

Covrig opted to lead almost full pot on that card to the tune of 2,700. Furu Oie thought it over for a moment and then put in the chips on their way to a Q river.

Covrig slowed back down and checked and although Furu Oie thought for a moment he ultimately checked it back.

Covrig smiled and said "You're good," as he tossed away his cards. Covrig still tabled KQ to show he had hit the river and scooped the pot.

Keating Pays Off Batbold

Level 5 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante

Zolbayar Batbold raised to 1,200 in the small blind only to be three-bet by Alex Keating in the big blind to 5,000. Batbold then slid in a four-bet of 13,200, which was called by Keating.

Batbold led out for 7,000 on the J1010 flop, with Keating calling to see the 3 turn. Another lead from Batbold was called, this time for 14,000.

The J river saw Batbold commit the rest of his stack with a bet of 20,600. Keating took several minutes to arrive at a decision, ultimately making the call.

Batbold turned over KK to take down a massive pot as Keating mucked.

That left Keating with a very short stack, which he promptly doubled with pocket queens a short time later.
