Achour checked on the flop of 3♥Q♥9♥ and Ogita continued for 375,000. Laugt raised to 1,000,000 and Achour folded, while Ogita three-bet all in with his opponent covered. Laugt quickly called.

The action was picked up on the river in a heads-up pot of roughly 1,500,000 on a board showing J♠5♦3♥10♣10♦. Alfonso Simone moved all in for close to 1,400,000 from under the gun and was snap-called by Rubens Sellam on the button with a bigger stack.

Simone rolled over A♠A♦, but Sellam confidently tabled J♥J♣ for flopped top set and rivered full house and the winning hand. Simone was eliminated in 18th place for €10,520.

Tomas Patka limped in in the small blind and Benjamin Spragg checked his option in the big blind.

Patka checked on the flop of 2♣10♦4♣ and Spragg checked back. Patka then bet 160,000 on the J♠ turn and Spragg responded with a raise. Patka then three-bet all in and Spragg quickly called with a smaller stack.

Frederik Thiemer Eliminated In 22nd Place (€8,850)

Daisuke Ogita opened to 200,000 on the button and Frederik Thiemer put in a three-bet to 630,000 from the small blind. The big blind got out of the way and Ogita called.

The flop fanned out 7♠7♦4♠ and Thiemer check-called a bet of 300,000 from Ogita. On the Q♠ turn Thiemer elected to take the betting lead with a sizing of 1,000,000, which Ogita called.

The 2♦ hit the river and Thiemer took a few seconds before announcing all in for 3,900,000 and Ogita went in the tank. After close to 30 seconds of thought, Ogita made the call and the cards were tabled.

Thiemer looked sick as he rolled over A♥4♥ for only a pair of fours and Ogita tabled A♠K♠ for the nut-flush to eliminate Thiemer in 22nd place and scoop the largest pot of the tournament.

The flop of Q♦4♦Q♣ had Wheeler drawing to just two outs, but he was unfazed as he called for a "five on the turn."

Right on schedule, the dealer put down the 5♥ on the turn and the 3♦ river didn't change anything for Wheeler to stay alive.

"Five on the turn, he said," commented Benjamin Spragg. "He's a real manifester, this guy."

Thiemer Shows a Straight Flush Draw

Inigo Naveiro opened to 110,000 in the cutoff and Frederik Thiemer called on the button as the small and big blinds also defended.

Action checked to Naveiro on the flop of 6♠J♦5♠ and he bet 185,000. Only Thiemer called. Naveiro then checked on the K♥ turn and Thiemer put out a large bet of around 700,000. Naveiro quickly folded as Thiemer turned over a semi-bluff with 8♠7♠ for an open-ended straight flush draw.

"If you jam, I call," Thiemer told Naveiro as the two discussed the hand.

"You can't call!" Naveiro laughed after conceding the pot.

Rahou Puts Pressure On Spragg

The action was picked up in a three-way pot with roughly 350,000 in the middle on a flop showing K♣10♦2♣. Benjamin Spragg checked from the big blind to Adel Rahou under the gun who bet out 140,000. Stefan Dimitrov folded from the cutoff and Spragg made the call.

On the 3♦ turn Spragg checked again and Rahou sized up to 380,000. Spragg went deep in the tank, but after several minutes of thought, let his cards go and the pot was sent to Rahou.

"Big hand?" asked Spragg to Rahou while he stacked up his chips.

"Yes very big. Better than king-queen," replied Rahou.
