O'Dwyer Sends Loeser To The Rail

Level 15 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Manig Loeser
Manig Loeser

Steve O'Dwyer opened to 9,000 from under the gun and it folded to Dario Sammartino in the cutoff who made the call. Manig Loeser elected to move all in for 100,000 from the small blind and action was back on O'Dwyer who rejammed over the top to fold out Sammartino.

Manig Loeser: 99
Steve O'Dwyer: 1010

Loeser was in need of help against the better pair for O'Dwyer, and when the board ran out 6526A, it was the tens that held up to send Loeser to the exit.

Oya Wins the Battle of the Big Stacks

Level 15 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

A 60,000 pot was brewing between Masashi Oya and Roman Samoylov, who both played stacks of over 500,000. Oya added another 35,000 to the middle on the J863 board and Samoylov made the call.

On the J river, Oya put out a massive bet of 120,000 chips. Samoylov had to get rid of one time bank chip in order to find the fold, but eventually he did so.

Faria Leaves Himself Short as He Times Out

Level 15 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

When the action was caught, the already completed board of 10A5K7 was dealt and laid in the middle of the table. Loads of chips were in the pot and they amounted to a total of roughly 150,000. Barak Wisbrod was in the big blind and had made a shove for 156,000. However, Luis Faria on the button had less than that, having only 75,000 behind.

Faria started the hand with five time bank extensions and he chose to use all of them for this decision. When the dealer had taken them all and his final countdown reached five seconds left, he finally mucked his hand, leaving himself with less than 20 big blinds.

O'Dwyer Scores Massive Double Up

Level 15 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Steve O'Dwyer
Steve O'Dwyer

All the chips hit the middle preflop between Manig Loeser on the button and Steve O'Dwyer in the big blind, who was the player at risk for his stack of 191,000.

Steve O'Dwyer: 1010
Manig Loeser: AK

It was a classic coin-flip situation, and when the flop came 843, made it even more sweaty for O'Dwyer when Loeser picked up a flush draw to go along with his two overs.

The turn fell the 10 to give O'Dwyer a set, but he would still need to dodge a heart on the river to stay alive. The 4 completed the board and O'Dwyer's tens held up to score the massive double up off Loeser.

Pardo Plays Small-Ball

Level 15 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Makkos Ladev raised to 8,000 from under the gun and the action folded all the way to Juan Pardo in the big blind. He made it 32,000 to go and Ladev called after some pondering.

The flop fell K27 and Pardo put out a tiny bet of 7,000. Ladev called and did the same for Pardo's 9,000 bet on the 10 turn.

The 9 river came about and Pardo used one time bank chip before putting in a third barrel of 15,000, only half the size of his preflop raise. Ladev could not lay his hand down for that sizing and made the call.

Pardo showed QQ and the pocket pair was good enough to take down the pot.

Bedell Takes Three-Way Pot

Level 15 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Nick Petrangelo raised to 8,000 from late position and Ramon Colillas called from the cutoff before Tom-Aksel Bedell jumped in from the button. The blinds got out of the way and action was three ways.

The flop was KJ3 and Petrangelo bet 12,000. Colillas called and Bedell came along to see a turn.

All three players checked down the 5 turn and 4 before Bedell turned over 77 to take the pot with a pocket pair.

Mikolaitis Puts Kolonias To The Ultimate Test

Level 15 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

The action folded around to Alexandros Kolonias in the small blind who limped in for 4,000 and Dominykas Mikolaitis bumped it up to 12,000 in the big blind, which Kolonias called.

The flop fanned out J92 and both players checked to the 5 turn. Kolonias took the lead with a bet of 10,000, and Mikolaitis came along.

The 3 completed the board and Kolonias bet again, this time to 15,000. Mikolaitis pondered for a moment before announcing all in, covering the 53,000 behind for Kolonias, who went deep in the tank.

After close to a minute of thought, Kolonias let his cards go and the pot was sent to Mikolaitis who moved over the half a million chip mark.
