Arunas Sapitavicius raised to 70,000 on the button and Joachim Haraldstad called from the small blind. The flop came A♠7♦2♣ and Haraldstad check-called a bet of 50,000 from Sapitavicius.

The turn was the 2♠ and both players checked to the 7♥ on the river. Haraldstad led out with a bet of 45,000 and Sapitavicius raised to 525,000 which got Haraldstad to fold.

On the next hand, Haraldstad made it 65,000 on the button and Mike Watson and Vicente Delgado called from the blinds. The flop fell A♠9♥8♦ and the blinds checked to Haraldstad who bet 110,000. Watson called and Delgado got out of the way.

The turn was the K♥ and Watson check-called another bet of 350,000 from Haraldstad. The 7♠ completed the board and Watson checked for the third time. Haraldstad reached back for a bet of 825,000 which forced Watson to use a time bank before dispatching his cards.

Meragal Gets Paid With Nut Flush

Maduka Meragal opened to 65,000 in the cutoff and Arunas Sapitavicius defended out of the big blind.

Sapitavicius checked on the flop of 3♦K♦6♦ and Meragal continued for 85,000. Sapitavicius called. Sapitavicius then led out for 40,000 on the 4♥ turn and Meragal called.

The Q♠ river completed the board and Sapitavicius checked. Meragal used a time bank and bet 430,000. Sapitavicius called, only to muck when his opponent showed the stone nuts with A♦9♦ for an ace-high flush.

"Is that the first time you've used a time bank?" asked Mike Watson.

"Yep!" replied Meragal.

Taylor With Cautious Double

The flop was 10♠K♦8♦ and Enselme checked. Taylor checked back and the turn was Q♥.

Both players checked the turn and the river was A♣.

Enselme checked once more and called when Taylor flicked out his last chip. Enselme called and Taylor showed the pocket jacks to take the double.

Joachim Haraldstad opened to 65,000 in early position and Mike Watson called on his left. Andrew Hulme was next to act and three-bet to 240,000. Haraldstad four-bet to 565,000 which got Watson out of the hand and Hulme five-bet to 1,700,000, leaving just 200,00 behind. Haraldstad instantly shoved all in and Hulme used the rest of his time banks before calling off his stack.

The flop fell Q♠J♥2♥ and Haraldstad picked up some extra outs with a straight draw. The 2♣ paired the board on the turn which changed nothing but the A♦ rolled off on the river. Haraldstad hit a "Barry" on the river and Hulme was forced to settle for 16th place.

The A♠ river completed the board and Boujmala sized up to 400,000. Sapitavicius gave it some thought and folded.
