Two Double Ups in Quick Succession

Level 14 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Down to the final four tables, the action has barely slowed down and the all-in showdowns keep on coming.

Having previously denied a bounty to Dimitar Danchev, Jamil Wakil was now aiming to finish the job with the superior stack while in the big blind.

Dimitar Danchev: {a-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}
Jamil Wakil: {k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}

Ace-high prevailed on the {q-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Spades}{j-Spades}{7-Spades} runout as Danchev doubled for 125,000.

Over on table one, Zhi Yi Ning pushed for just 135,000 on the button. Kayhan Mokri rejammed from the small blind to isolate and Julien Sitbon folded out of the big blind.

Zhi Yi Ning: {k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}
Kayhan Mokri: {k-Clubs}{2-Spades}

The {q-Spades}{10-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop gave Mokri a pair of deuces while Ning had plenty of outs with the open-ended straight draw and one live card. Nothing changed with the {6-Spades} turn but Ning got there on the {j-Hearts} river to double for 135,000.

Wakil Triples, Danchev Denied a Bounty

Level 14 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Jamil Wakil
Jamil Wakil

Jamil Wakil opened to 20,000 in early position and Sirzat Hissou pushed all in for 245,000 on his left. Dimitar Danchev asked for a count from the cutoff before re-shoving all in. The action folded back to Wakil who also called off his stack of 157,000 chips.

Jamil Wakil: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}
Sirzat Hissou: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Dimitar Danchev: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

The flop of {j-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{3-Diamonds} looked promising for Wakil to triple up while Danchev was focused on the side pot in order to collect a bounty. The {8-Diamonds} on the turn left Wakil in the driver's seat and the {k-Diamonds} on the river secured him the main pot. However, Hissou spiked a king on the river to win the side pot from Danchev, denying him his bounty chip.

Nikiforov Doubles Through Sitbon

Level 14 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

In a preflop contest, Ilya Nikiforov had the best of it with the {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades} when he was all-in for 186,000. Julien Sitbon needed plenty of help with the {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} to avoid a setback and found some equity on a {q-Spades}{10-Hearts}{3-Clubs} flop with a gutshot.

The {9-Spades} turn changed nothing, nor did the {6-Diamonds} on the river for Nikiforov to double.

More Bounty Galore Unfolding

Level 14 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Ren Lin and Andre Marques notched up bounty prizes, the latter of which sent Niklas Astedt to the rail.

The all-in showdowns kept on coming and Guilherme Silva was also among those to bow out. Left with a short stack, he was all-in with the {7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and Nikita Kuznetsov looked him up with the {10-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}.

Ten-high would prevail on the {k-Clubs}{q-Spades}{2-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} runout as the Russian also collected a bounty chip.

Seidel Knocks Out Thanarattrakul

Level 14 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

The action folded around to Kannapong Thanarattrakul in the small blind who ripped all in for around 75,000 chips. Erik Seidel woke up with a pair in the big blind and made the call.

Kannapong Thanarattrakul: {k-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Erik Seidel: {2-Spades}{2-Diamonds}

The board ran out {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}{6-Spades}{9-Spades}{a-Clubs} and Thanarattrakul was unable to connect with the board, sending his bounty ticket to Seidel on his left.

Lin Returns the Favor to Beresford

Level 14 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Conor Beresford

Ren Lin and Conor Beresford were back at it again as they got all of their chips in the middle preflop for the second time today. This time, the cards were reversed with Beresford holding the {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds} while Lin tabled {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}.

"This time, I have the nines," pointed out Lin after Beresford flopped a set on him in the previous battle.

The dealer fanned the flop of {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and Lin spiked a set as well. The {k-Diamonds} on the turn and the {k-Spades} on the river were no help to Beresford who slung his bounty ticket across the table.

"Ughhh. Now what?" Beresford asked himself.

Quadruple Knockout for Ferreira Pais

Level 14 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Mauricio Ferreira Pais

Table five brought a spectacular five-way all-in during which the severe short stacks of Stefan Schillhabel and Raphael Da Costa were in the middle. Furthermore, Jakob Miegel and Alexandre Reard were also all-in and they were all covered by Mauricio Ferreira Pais.

"Oh man, I also wanted his bounty," another player joked as the following cards were flipped over.

Raphael Da Costa: {7-Hearts}{3-Spades}
Stefan Schillhabel: {5-Hearts}{3-Hearts}
Alexandre Reard: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Jakob Miegel: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}
Mauricio Ferreira Pais: {k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}

The {q-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{4-Spades} flop gave Ferreira Pais a gutshot which he hit with the {10-Spades} turn to make the nuts for the time being. Reard and Miegel had outs to broadway but missed on the {8-Diamonds} river as a quadruple knockout was confirmed.

More for Mokri; Less for Mulder

Level 14 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Kayhan Mokri also notched up the elimination of Mark Hammond while another all-in showdown took place over on table two.

Jakov Nesterov was all-in for 86,000 with the {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds} and Teun Mulder went bounty-hunting with the {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}.

The {k-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{5-Spades}{a-Spades}{j-Hearts} board locked up the double on the turn with a set of kings.

Mokri Collects a Bounty, Rises to the Top

Level 13 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Kayhan Mokri raised to 20,000 in middle position and was called by Julien Sitbon on his left and Igor Yaroshevskyy in the big blind. The flop came {q-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} and Mokri continued with a bet of 25,000 which only Yaroshevskyy called.

The turn was the {9-Spades} and Yaroshevskyy checked again. Mokri splashed in a bet of 200,000, more than enough to put Yaroshevskyy to the test for his last 72,000. Yaroshevskyy used up three of his time banks before finally making the call.

Yaorshevskyy turned over {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for a pair and a flush draw but still needed to improve against the {q-Hearts}{10-Spades} of Mokri. The river was the {k-Spades} and Mokri scored the knockout.

"Adrian, you know this is my kind of format," Mokri said to Adrian Mateos sitting at his table.

"I'm not surprised," Mateos responded with a chuckle.
