Márton Czuczor

Simeon Spasov went all in from middle position for 580,000 and Marton Czuczor isolated with a shove. The two players flipped their cards.

Simeon Spasov: {a-Clubs}{5-Clubs}
Marton Czuczor: {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

Spasov was at risk and badly behind, but the board ran out {5-Spades}{2-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} to give him a pair of fives and a double up to over one million in chips.

Sari Maalouf Eliminated in 23rd Place; Stoyan Obreshkov Eliminated in 22nd Place (€10,250 each)

Sari Maalouf

Sari Maalouf pushed all in with a very short stack from under the gun and Stoyan Obreshkov went all in over the top from the cutoff for what appeared to be around 600,000. Both were looked up by Mohamed Mokrani and the cards were flipped over.

Sari Maalouf: {5-Clubs}{4-Clubs}
Stoyan Obreshkov: {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Mohamed Mokrani: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}

Both Maalouf and Obreshkov failed to improve on the {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{7-Spades} board as the kicker played for Mokrani to eliminate two opponents. Maalouf had the shorter stack but received the same €10,250 as Obreshkov.

Four Eliminations In Two Minutes Result in Redraw

Level 25 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Emil Bise
Emil Bise

In very rapid fashion, the field was brought down to the final three tables and the last 24 contenders are now redrawing to their new seat assignments. Below is what unfolded in a flurry.

Roberto Rodriguez pushed all in for around 330,000 with the {k-Spades}{q-Spades} and was looked up by Ho Tien Cheung with the {a-Spades}{k-Clubs} from one seat over. There was a mandatory sweat on the {9-Spades}{6-Spades}{4-Hearts} flop but the {4-Clubs} turn and {3-Clubs} river bricked off.

Emil Bise was the next to call. All-in for eight blinds from under the gun, he put his hopes on the {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}. Mohamed Mokrani in the big blind called with the {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts} and prevailed on the {j-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{5-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{7-Spades} runout.

Mustaoha Amaouche jammed at the wrong time with the {6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} as Manuel Labous called in the big blind with {k-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}. The {q-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} flop left Amaouche on very thin ice and the {a-Clubs} turn ended his run in 26th place, as a meaningless {a-Diamonds} fell on the river.

The very same table then also lost Tetsuma Ishizu who failed to get there with the {3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} against the pocket tens of Mehdi Chaoui.

Buckley Chips Up Without Showdown

Level 25 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Mark Buckley came along when Jeremie Zouari raised and the {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{9-Spades} flop brought another bet by Zouari for 145,000, Buckley called. After the {2-Hearts} turn, both checked and the {j-Diamonds} fell on the river. Zouari now checked again and Buckley bet 350,000 to force a fold.

Georgios Vrakas
Georgios Vrakas

Luis Machado raised to 80,000 from the cutoff, Michael Ferrer called on the hijack, and Georgios Vrakas jammed all in from the big blind for around 260,000. Machado iso shoved for 670,000 and Ferrer was forced out of the pot. Two players showed their hands, with Vrakas at risk.

Georgios Vrakas: {a-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}
Luis Machado: {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}

The board ran out {8-Spades}{k-Spades}{3-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}. Neither player improved, but Machado had the higher kicker with his ace high. He won the pot and Vrakas was eliminated in 29th place for €7,750.

Delfoco Soars Up the Leaderboard

Level 25 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Gaelle Baumann
Gaelle Baumann

Chakib Mhiri was unable to run up fewer than one big blind and Mehdi Rebsai was the knocked out by Francesco Delfoco.

The next all-in showdown on the then final four tables featured Delfoco once more as he looked up the shove of Gaelle Baumann for 395,000.

Gaelle Baumann: {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Francesco Delfoco: {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}

The {j-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Spades}{8-Spades}{2-Hearts} board failed to provide any help and Baumann exited in 30th place.

Bianchetti Eliminated by Buckley

Level 25 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Saint Yves Braulio Bianchetti
Saint Yves Braulio Bianchetti

With 33 players remaining and one more to break a table, Saint Yves Braulio Bianchetti had three-bet to 350,000 out of the big blind with around 70,000 behind. Mark Buckley then pushed all-in and the Brazilian was in the tank.

Once he was told that the next pay jump was still two eliminations away, he called it off.

Saint Yves Braulio Bianchetti: {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}
Mark Buckley: {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

The {q-Spades}{8-Hearts}{6-Spades} flop and {3-Hearts} turn kept Bianchetti with outs to stay in contention but the {5-Clubs} river ended his run.
