Kalidou Sow
Kalidou Sow

In a preflop contest, Kalidou Sow was the player at risk for 34,300 and Martin Jacobson looked him up from one seat over to create a pot worth the current average in the tournament.

Kalidou Sow: {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}
Martin Jacobson: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}

The {j-Spades}{10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} flop gave Jacobson a draw to the superior straight on top but he bricked both the {9-Spades} turn and {8-Hearts} river, dropping to a mere six big blinds as a result.

Level 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

On a completed board of {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{k-Spades}, Silvio Costa instantly called all-in when facing a big bet of Yannick Cardot and flashed over his {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} for aces and tens. Smiljkovic Escapes From Elimination

Level 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Daniel Smijlkovic was caught with a move when he piled it in preflop for what appeared to be approximately 48,000 and that got rid of Thierry Morel. However, Claudio Di Giacomo was in no mood of folding and the cards were revealed.

Daniel Smiljkovic: {j-Spades}{10-Spades}
Claudio Di Giacomo: {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

The {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{7-Clubs} flop let Morel sigh as he mentioned to have folded pocket eights. Thanks to the {4-Clubs} turn and {10-Clubs} river, Smiljkovic chopped the pot and their table broke right after to balance the shrinking field.

River Bet Wins It For Zoufri

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Piotr Wiecek raised to 2,600 from late position and picked up calls from Abdelhakin Zoufri on the button and Christophe Pommier in the big blind.

The flop came {3-Hearts}{8-Spades}{k-Spades} and all three players checked. The turn was the {8-Clubs} and action checked to Zoufri who opted to bet out for 3,500. Pommier called and Wiecek made a raise to 14,000. Zoufri was the only caller.

The river was the {8-Clubs}. Wiecek checked and Zoufri made it 18,000. After a long pause for thought, Wiecek folded his hand to give Zoufri the pot.
