But now, PokerStars Live events on US soil look to be back on the cards according to a PokerNews interview with Managing Director of North America for PokerStars Severin Rasset.

Dinner Break on Day 1

Level 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Out of a field of 902 entries, only 369 players still have chips at their disposal. They have been sent on a scheduled 75-minute dinner break during which the T-100 chips are raced off as well. Once the cards go back in the air at approximately 9:13 p.m. local time, the registration for this event will close.

The river came the {7-Clubs}, Osti checked, Velasevic bet 3,200 and both players folded. Velasevic scooped the pot, bringing his stack to around the 200,000 mark.

Timmer Flipped Out by Ripan

Level 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Down to around half the starting stack, Javey Timmer of the Netherlands was all-in and had a classic flip against Octavian Ripan.

Javey Timmer: {8-Hearts}{8-Spades}
Octavian Ripan: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}

The {q-Spades}{j-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} flop gave Timmer bottom set but Ripan spiked the {10-Hearts} turn for broadway. A blank followed with the {k-Clubs} river and Timmer bowed out moments before the scheduled 75-minute dinner break.

Game Over for Brink

Level 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Maciej Gut opened the action with a raise to 2,500 and it folded all the way to Frederik Brink in the big blind. He glanced at the cards and then moved all-in for around 14,000 to get instantly called by Gut.

Frederik Brink: {4-Clubs}{4-Hearts}
Maciej Gut: {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}

The dominated pair of the former EPT Madrid Main Event champion failed to improve on the {k-Clubs}{6-Spades}{2-Clubs}{2-Spades}{a-Diamonds} board and that spelled the end for Brink on the second and final entry.
