Small Pot for Hong as Tournament Gets Underway

Level 1 : Blinds 100/100, 100 ante

Sungho Hong raised to 300 chips from middle position and picked up a call from Marc Uzan in the small blind. The flop came {9-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}.

Uzan checked and Hong made a continuation bet for 300. Uzan called and the turn fell {3-Spades}. Uzan once again checked and Hong checked behind.

The river was the {9-Hearts} and after Uzan checked for a third time, Hong bet 2,100. This was too much for Uzan, who folded. Hong picked up a small pot to kickstart his tournament.
