Sungho Hong raised to 300 chips from middle position and picked up a call from Marc Uzan in the small blind. The flop came .
Uzan checked and Hong made a continuation bet for 300. Uzan called and the turn fell . Uzan once again checked and Hong checked behind.
The river was the and after Uzan checked for a third time, Hong bet 2,100. This was too much for Uzan, who folded. Hong picked up a small pot to kickstart his tournament.
Welcome to Day 1b of the French Poker Series (FPS) €1,100 Paris Main Event at PokerStars European Poker Tour Paris. Cards go in the air at 6 p.m. local time for the second of three opening flights.
Players will start with 30,000 chips and the structure is slightly faster than Day 1a with 30-minute blind levels. Blinds start at 100/100 with a 100 big blind ante. Per French regulations, players are allowed to reenter once per flight after the original entry. Players may reenter their initial flight once, and then they have one entry available to each of the remaining flights. Registration will close after Level 10.

Of those who enter, 15 percent of the field will make it to Day 2 and walk away with at least a min-cash. The final flight, Day 1c, begins Friday with 15 percent again progressing to Saturday's Day 2.
