Sonny Franco raised to 8,000 from under the gun and Steeve Sultan called from the next seat over before Eric Geraume raised to 23,000. After a quick fold from Franco, Sultan went into the tank for a minute or two before he called.
The flop came and Geraume put out a bet of 16,000 after a check from Sultan, which was enough to let Sultan lay his hand down.
After the action, the floor swept in to break the table as the bust-outs have been going rapidly so far on Day 2.
Jensen Bernard pushed all in from middle position for 26,000. Willem de Jong reraised from the button to around 85,000 and Ramon Colillas called all in from the small blind.

The board ran out to give De Jong top pair. After just a few hands of play on Day 2, both Bernard and Ramon Colillas busted.

A Taste of Day 1c
Day 1c was the busiest starting flight of the FPS Main Event and attracted a huge 1,024 entries and was a star-studded affair. There were several other players donning the PokerStars patch such as Benjamin Spragg, Nicholas Walsh and Chris Da Silva but neither player would make it through the first 14 levels.
Action throughout the day was what you would expect until things started heating up during the final level of play. A dramatic hand at Table 3 led to a big double for Idir Haiche. There were accusations of angle-shooting which was accompanied by heated words between several players. All the eyes inside the tournament room were locked in on the commotion but things quickly settled and the day finished off in a more calm manner.
As mentioned, Day 2 begins at 12 p.m. local time and play will resume on Level 15, with the blinds at 2,000/4,000 and a big blind ante of 4,000. Level duration also increases to 60 minutes, with a 20-minute break taking place after every two levels. A dinner break is on the cards but the timings for that are yet to be confirmed.
The payouts for the event will also be announced in the early goings of Day 2, so be sure to keep in locked in with PokerNews to follow all the action from this thrilling record-breaking event.
