Orpaz Doubles Before Shaking Kenjic Off a Chop

Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Tom Orpaz open-jammed a stack of 54,000 from the small blind and Jovan Kenjic looked him up in the big blind with a bigger stack.

Tom Orpaz: {j-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}
Jovan Kenjic: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}

Orpaz had run into a strong holding but managed to outflop his opponent as the board ran out {8-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{j-Spades}{7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} to earn him the double with a pair of jacks.

An orbit or so later, Orpaz relayed to PokerNews that the under-the-gun player opened to 6,500 and Orpaz called from middle position before Kenjic three-bet to 22,000. The initial raiser folded and Orpaz called.

Orpaz checked on the flop of {4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{3-Spades} and Kenjic checked back. Orpaz then moved all in for around 100,000 on the {5-Hearts} turn and Kenjic showed {a-}{q-Spades} before folding to hang onto his remaining 65,000. Orpaz then showed {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs} to let the opponent know they would have been chopping.
