Lybaert Bounced By Lehoussine

Level 5 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante
Bart Lybaert
Bart Lybaert

Over on table one, the cards were already on their backs and Bart Lybaert was all-in with the {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}. Karim Lehoussine had that dominated with the {q-Clubs}{q-Spades} and remained ahead on the {j-Clubs}{9-Spades}{8-Hearts} flop.

Lybaert took the lead with the {a-Hearts} turn but the {10-Spades} river gave Lehoussine a queen-high straight.

"If you just call, I get it in also," Christophe Fougle told him in French and added that he had let go of pocket nines, which would have flopped a set.

Del Pino Forces Out Ribeiro

Level 5 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante
Omar del Pino
Omar del Pino

On a heads-up turn of {8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}, Omar Del Pino bet 12,000 and Carlos Ribeiro called. The Spaniard then jammed the {6-Diamonds} river with the superior stack and Ribeiro immediately had a dry smile on his face. He checked his cards very high so that the table neighbors could see them and mucked.

The dealer informed Ribeiro that they had to be shown to everyone and the {10-Spades}{10-Hearts} were revealed. Del Pino grinned and flashed his {9-Spades}{8-Spades} before collecting the pot.

"Two - zero," Parham Ahoor chimed in to which Del Pino replied, "no, one - one."

Veldhuis "Needed This One" for a Double

Level 5 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante
Lex Veldhuis
Lex Veldhuis

Lex Veldhuis raised to 1,100 and was called only by Michael Sklenicka from one seat over. The {q-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{4-Hearts} flop was checked by both players and Veldhuis bet the {5-Spades} turn for 3,400 with 10,100 behind, picking up a call from Sklenicka.

Both headed to the {8-Hearts} river on which Veldhuis bet 10,000, leaving a single chip behind. Sklenicka called and mucked his {k-Spades}{q-Clubs} after he was shown the {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} by the Dutchman.

"You needed this one," Sklenicka joked and Veldhuis instantly replied "no shit" with a smile on the face.

"The next time from someone else, please," Sklenicka added.

Buonanno Doubles Through Mendoza

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Antonio Buonanno
Antonio Buonanno

The cards of Jeremias Mendoza were already in the muck and he paid off a double to former EPT San Remo Main Event champion Antonio Buonanno. With the {q-Spades}{6-Clubs}{2-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{j-Spades} board showing, the {a-Spades}{4-Spades} of the Italian represented the nuts and he doubled for 15,500.

According to Carl Shaw on the same table, Mendoza had bet the pot on the river with pocket sevens for a set only to pay off the nut flush of Buonanno.

See You Later Mister Slater

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Joris Ruijs
Joris Ruijs

Jonathan Therme raised to 1,000 and Joris Ruijs three-bet to 2,300 on the button. Tim Slater then pushed all-in with a shorter stack from one seat over and Therme folded, Ruijs instantly called as the table big stack.

Tim Slater: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}
Joris Ruijs: {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

The {k-Spades}{j-Spades}{10-Diamonds} flop would have gotten the chips in anyways as top set met broadway. Nothing much changed with the {a-Diamonds} turn but the {10-Hearts} river paired the board to eliminate Slater.

Tibor Nagygyorgy was already all-in and awaiting his fate after the {j-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop when the {10-Diamonds} turn brought the all-in of Marc Choucair in the big blind. He held the superior stack against Mauricio Salazar Sanchez, who eventually called it off for the 13,900 he had behind.

Tibor Nagygyorgy: {k-Hearts}{j-Clubs}
Mauricio Salazar Sanchez: {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts}
Marc Choucair: {q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

Choucair was ahead with the nut straight and Nagygyorgy already drawing dead. Despite blocking two hearts, Choucair could not hold as the {6-Hearts} river improved Salazar Sanchez to the nut flush.

Without any major action prior to the {j-Hearts}{9-Spades}{7-Clubs}{6-Spades}{9-Diamonds} river, Ramon Colillas in the big blind bet 3,500 for the size of the pot. He was up against Carlos Chang who called after a couple of seconds. Colillas tabled the {9-Clubs}{4-Clubs} for rivered trips and that won the pot to boost the stack of the Spaniard.

Aceto Escapes From Elimination

Level 3 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante
Morgan Aceto
Morgan Aceto

On a heads-up turn of {j-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{3-Spades}{8-Clubs} between Morgan Aceto in the small blind bet and Vadzim Godzdanker called in the cutoff as both players invested 6,500 each to see the {q-Diamonds} on the river. Aceto now checked and Godzdanker pushed forward a stack worth 27,000 to cover Aceto's remaining chips.

The Frenchman tried some table chat to gather information and ultimately folded. "You show, I show?" he inquired and Godzdanker agreed as Aceto revealed his {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}. Godzdanker first showed the {q-Hearts} followed by the {10-Diamonds} and Aceto counted his blessings.

"Blank turn and I am out," he added and also confirmed he would have called if the Belorussian had jammed the turn.

Gabriel Chiva raised to 15,000 and Abdessamad Ayyad shoved with slightly less than Chiva's total. [Removed:433] quickly ducked out of the way and Chiva tossed in a chip to call.

Abdessamad Ayyad: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
