Glogar Doubles Through Chisu

Level 23 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Alexander Glogar shoved for a bit over 500,000 from the hijack and was called by Danut Chisu to be put at risk.

Alexander Glogar: AK
Danut Chisu: AJ

The Q9Q kept Glogar in front, but the 7 turn gave Chisu additional outs to a flush.

It wasn't meant to be, however, as the Q river left Glogar best with his big-slick and he doubled up.

"It's always a sweat," Glogar said as he collected the pot.

Chisu was left with a bit over 100,000 following the hand and busted shortly after.

Level 23 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Mengshi Tian
Mengshi Tian

Picking up the action on a flop of K757 with 500,000 already in the middle, Mengshi Tian had slid out a bet of 315,000 from the cutoff after Santtu Leinonen had checked to him from middle position.

Leinonen pondered his options for a couple of minutes, before moving all in for 770,000. Tian didn't look pleased, but made the call to put Leinonen at risk.

Santtu Leinonen: A7
Mengshi Tian: AK

The turn had propelled Leinonen into the lead with a set of sevens versus Tian's top pair top kicker, leaving Tian drawing dead.

Leinonen scooped a huge pot in excess of 2,000,000 and Tian was left with 280,000 after the 6 river completed the board.

Team Pros Wage War

Level 23 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Ramon Colillas
Ramon Colillas

Ramon Colillas and Felix Schneiders have been seated at the same table for the majority of Day 2, and they clashed when Colillas raised to 50,000 from the button and Schneiders defended his big blind.

Both players then checked the 978 flop before Schneiders led out for 35,000 on the J turn. Colillas called and the 4 river completed the board.

Schneiders reverted to a check, causing Colillas to make a bet of 80,000. Schneiders took one last look at his cards before tossing them into the muck, surrendering the pot to his PokerStars colleague.

Level 23 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Picking the action up in a 175,000 three-way pot on a Q52 flop, the preflop raiser Dominik Ostrowski continued with a bet of 45,000 after the blinds, Marin Prvan and Daniel Rejc, had checked to him.

The 7 turn was checked through by all three players.

On the J river, Prvan put out a bet of 80,000, which sufficed to get both his opponents to fold.

Nguyen Spikes a Six to Double Through Mihelsons

Level 23 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Tommy Nguyen shoved for appoximately 200,000 on the button and was called by Davis Mihelsons in the small blind to be put at risk.

Tommy Nguyen: A6
Davis Mihelsons: A7

"You have an ace? I'll take a chop," Nguyen said as hands were tabled.

Nguyen did even better, however, as the J6949 runout paired his six, which was good for the double up.

Peche Ships Mystery Pot Against Kyte

Level 23 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

When the action was caught, Jon Kyte's cards had already hit the muck. Daniel Peche's Q9 was still visible on the table, however, as well as the board of Q964K.

It appeared the two went to war in a blind-on-blind battle, with Peche being the ultimate victor. Peche's chips were counted and Kyte owed him 1,025,000 of them, the entire stack of Peche.

Kyte reluctantly paid as he took a big hit late on Day 2.

Eights Hold for Schneiders

Level 23 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

The action is joined late with Konstantinos Stroulis all in on the button for his tournament life. Felix Schneiders calls in the small blind, with both players short on chips.

Konstantinos Stroulis: 54
Felix Schneiders: 88

The flop came 926, giving Stroulis a straight draw - needing a three to beat Schneiders pair.

An A on the turn didn't help Stroulis as he faced exit from the tournament.

The J river confirmed the hold for Schneiders, gaining some much-needed chips as the end of Day 2 crept up.
