The 7♣ turn favored Karl's range and he took the opportunity to lead out for 65,000. Vauquelin pondered his options and three-bet to 175,000. Karl peeked at his cards once, before throwing them in the muck.
Ercan Atmaca limped on the button. The small blind also limped, while Ricardo De Andrade checked to go three ways to the flop.

A 9♣ on the turn sparked the action, with the small blind first leading out for 20,000 and then De Andrade raising to 100,000. Atmaca called the raise, while the small blind folded.

PokerStars has unveiled the full schedule for the 2024 European Poker Tour (EPT) season, which shows five destinations, including a return to EPT Paris and EPT Cyprus. Both Paris and Cyprus made their EPT debut in 2023, and they return for 2024, much to the delight of the players.
EPT Paris is the first stop of the 2024 European Poker Tour season. It takes place between February 14-25 at a new venue. The stunning Le Palais des Congres has a 120-table capacity, meaning there will be a more extensive schedule for the festival. Cedric Billot, Associate Director for Live Events and Operations, believes the new-look EPT Paris could be one of the largest EPT festivals on record.
The 156 remaining players have been sent on their last 25-minute break of the day.
When they come back, one more 60-minute level will be played before the survivors bag up for Day 3.
