Siden Tens Send Schulz to the Rail

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Anton Siden opened to 40,000 from the button and after a little deliberation, Robert Schulz shoved all in in the big blind. Siden, who covered the German, made the call.

Robert Schulz: A5
Anton Siden: 1010

Schulz didn't hit his ace on the flop, with the board running QJ8.

The turn was a 7, meaning Siden needed to fade three outs to scoop an important pot.

He did, with the 8 landing on the river, which sent Schulz to the rail just before the break.

Expensive Mistake for Peretti

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Michel Peretti opened to 45,000 from the hijack but saw Agostino Ascone raise to 105,000.

"One-five," said the dealer. So, Peretti, who almost doesn't speak English and didn't see the exact amount of the raise, put 150,000 in front of him to call. However, this "one-five" was too much to call. After the floor was called, he was forced to raise to 165,000.

Seeing this mistake, Ascone took the opportunity to raise all in for 725,000. Peretti snap-called.

Michel Peretti: AK
Agostoni Ascone: AA

Peretti mentioned that if he had called, he could have folded on the 924 flop, the J turn, or the 7 river. But here, he had to give almost all his stack to Ascone.

At the same table, Pablo Silva and Patrick Beuter both have more than 2,000,000 chips.

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Andreas Scheelen opens to 40,000 in the hijack and gets called by Alfred Nader in the big blind.

The 2910 flop sees both players check to a turn.

Nader leads out for 20,000 on the 6 turn and is called.

A 2 river prompts another 20,000 bet from the Lebanese, who once again gets called. He shows the Q9 and it's enough to get Scheelen to muck his hand.
