The river was the J♠ and Fischer bet another 18,000. Selides instantly called and Fischer showed 6♦5♦ for a straight as Selides mucked.

Thomas Eychenne raised to 8,000 from the hijack, Shyngis Satubayev three-bet to 25,000 from the button and Eychenne responded with a four-bet to 65,000. Satubayev called.

Eychenne continued for 15,000 on the Q♣5♦5♥ flop. Satubayev called.

The 2♣ turn slowed down Eychenne. Satubayev took the lead with a very small bet of 10,000 and Eychenne called.

Both players took their time as the J♦ river checked to a showdown. Eychenne tabled K♣Q♠ for top pair, while Satubayev took down this pot with A♠A♣.

A neutral player at the table commented "The bets just kept getting smaller and smaller!"
