With about 25,000 in the middle on the 9♠7♣6♣8♠2♠ river, Marc MacDonnell fired 25,000. Fehim Hajdari was the only opponent in the hand and eventually dropped a stack across the line for a raise to 100,000.

MacDonnell called with no hesitation and Hajdari showed Q♠5♠ for a queen-high flush before MacDonnell tabled K♠J♠.

Tran Tuan, in the big blind, checked the action to Jan-Eric Schwippert, in early position. Schwippert bet out 18,000, sending Tuan into the tank.

Tuan was in the tank for so long that the clock was called. Under the tournament floor's watchful eye, Tuan was given thirty seconds to act, prompting him to raise to 45,000. Schwippert made a quick call.

Tuan tabled Q♣Q♦ for quad queens, which consequently erupted the table into controversy as many players vocalised their opinion that Tuan was actively wasting their time.
