Gascoigne Takes a Six-Way Pot

Level 13 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

"Six players" announced the dealer when he fanned a flop of 10K9. But even if almost all the players around the table were involved in the pot, everybody checked the flop to find the A on the turn.

The blinds, the under the gun player and another one in middle position checked again, so Jacob Amsellem in the cutoff decided to bet 16,000. Atanas Kodinov called from the button, but Ian Gascoigne immediately raised all-in for approximately 75,000 from the small blind.

Everybody folded to Amsellem, who folded too. Kodinov then went into the tank, but eventually sent his cards into the muck as well, so Gascoigne won this one and almost doubled up.
