Guyon Eliminated as Spragg Folds Aces

Marle Spragg open-raised to 55,000 from under the gun and found callers in Umberto Ruggeri on the button and Adrien Guyon in the small blind.

The flop fell 3♠2♣4♠ and the action checked to Ruggeri, who fired a bet of 60,000. Guyon then raised to 200,000, and Spragg called cold.

The action was back on Ruggeri, who three-bet all in for 1,000,000. Guyon called for his stack of 800,000, while Spragg folded her A♠A♣ face-up to create a heads up showdown.

Spragg would have made her wheel on the 5♣ turn, and the 7♣ river gave Guyon two pair.

However, Ruggeri's flopped set remained the best hand between the two players still in the pot, and he knocked out Guyon while shipping a monster pot of around 90 big blinds.

The 8♠4♥3♦ flop quickly checked through to the 2♥ turn. Farrell led out for 100,000 and both players called.

The 9♣ river then checked through to showdown. Colillas tabled 10♠8♣ — Meli and Farrell mucked.

The dealer fanned a flop of A♣10♣J♣, and Rodin continued for 45,000. Kyte check-called, then both players checked on the turn J♠.

The 3♠ landed on the river, with Kyte leading out for 160,000. Rodin eventually called with A♥8♣, catching Kyte bluffing with 6♣4♥.

The river came the 5♥ and Gognjavec bet 175,000. Colillas quickly called and Gognjavec showed 5♦4♦ for trip fives.

Colillas, though, had 9♥8♥ for a rivered flush as Gognjavec shot back in his seat before giving up the pot.

Ruggeri sized up to 260,000 on the 3♦ turn, and only Spragg called.

Action checked through on the 7♣ river and Spragg tabled A♦Q♦. Ruggeri threw his hands in the air before tabling his A♠4♠ for a worse ace-high and Spragg took the pot.

Ran Ilani asked for a count in the small blind and tanked for a moment before folding as action went back on Zhao, who also took around 30 seconds before he called. Kocab quickly got out of the way.
