Daniel Rezaei opened under the gun to 5,500 and was only called by Ren Lin in the seat to his direct left.
The two players checked the Q♠Q♥5♦ flop to see the 10♦ appear on the turn. After Razaei checked, Lin put out a bet of 7,000 which prompted a quick fold from Rezaei.
Dorin-Sebastian Omilescu opened to 5,500 from middle position and Vincenzo Lorenzo shoved for 50,500 on the button. It was folded to Youcef Amimer in the big blind, who also went all in for over 200,000. Omilescu folded and a showdown was held.

The 4♣9♦3♥ flop looked dire for the out-kicked Lorenzo, but the Q♠ fell on the turn to give him a commanding lead.
The 7♦ river changed nothing and Lorenzo was awarded the double-up with his pair of queens.
A player opened to 5,000 from middle position before Adrien Alibert jammed for 45,000 from the hijack. In the cutoff, Kevin Muders had a very difficult decision and eventually decided to call off his 32,000 stack before the original raiser got out of the way.

It was a flip scenario for Muders's tournament life and he immediately fell behind on the Q♥J♣2♠ flop. Nothing changed on the 7♣A♠ runout as Muders headed towards the exit and Alibert collected the remainder of his chips.
Guy Cicconi opened from the hijack to 5,500 before Gregory Dupuy three-bet from the button to 13,000. After the blinds folded, Cicconi four-bet to 35,000 which was called by Dupuy.
The action checked through on the K♠Q♥4♠ flop for the 4♦ to come on the turn. Cicconi bet 35,000 and got a quick fold from Dupuy.
The action was caught on the river with the board showing 5♣A♠A♥8♠J♦. There were around 30,000 chips in the middle and VIsa Kiviharju shoved for roughly 29,000. Betanzos Guerrero snap-called and was shown A♣8♣ for a full house by Kiviharju. Guerrero couldn't beat that as he turned over A♦7♦ for trip aces and the pot was sent to Kiviharju.
Daniel Viebcke was all in for 42,500 against the bigger-stacked Juan Reyes.

The flop of 10♣K♥10♠ kept Viebcke in front while giving Reyes a gutshot to go with his overs. The 8♥ gave him further outs with a flush draw, but the 6♠ bricked off for Viebcke to double up as he let out a sigh of relief.
Benny Glaser shoved for his last 9,500 from early position and David Tampin called from directly behind. Kamal Sefrioui also called from the hijack and Parker Talbot shoved for 24,000 from the small blind.
Tampin then back-raised all in for more and Sefrioui let his hand go.

The A♣5♥J♥7♦6♦ runout kept Tampin best with his ladies and both Glaser and Talbot were eliminated.
With about 18,000 in the middle the flop read J♦8♦5♥, and Miguel Abeijon was seen with about 26,000 across the line from middle position. Ludovic Geilich was in the big blind and both hands were tabled.
