Barbero Trending Down

Level 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Nacho Barbero had run his second nut flush into the nut flush of Wouter Beltz some hands prior and then found himself heads up against Mihai Niste on a flop of 952.

Niste checked in middle position to Barbero in the cutoff. Barbero bet 7,500 into the pot of 21,000 and saw his opponent call.

The 9 turn paired the board and was checked by both players before Niste made a bet of 30,000 on the 4 river, nearly his entire stack.

Barbero played around the same amount and spent one time bank before folding his cards and diving under the starting stack.

Lin Gets Value with Trips

Level 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Ren Lin opened the button to 2,500 and Yaroslav Ohulchanskiy called in the small blind before Igor Pihela three-bet to 6,900 from the big blind. Only Lin called.

On the J1010 flop, Pihela continued for 10,000 and Lin called.

The 6 fell on the turn. Pihela again bet 10,000, Lin min-raised to 20,000, and Pihela called.

The river was the Q. Pihela opted to lead for 15,000, Lin raised to 36,000, and Pihela called. Lin tabled K10 for flopped trips which were good enough to drag a sizeable pot late in the day.

Level 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

In a blind versus blind battle, Mark Teltscher bet 2,500 on a flop of 107K and Brandon Leetz raised to 7,500. "No bluffs. I want to make it to Day 2," Leetz said as Teltscher called.

Both players checked the J turn and the river was the 10. Leetz then bet 12,000 and Teltscher again called.

"Bon appetite," Leetz said, immediately tossing his cards into the muck.

"This was a hero play," Teltscher said as he showed 99. "That's a hell of a call on the flop. That was not easy," he added.
