Valverde Bluffs into Top Boat

With two players seeing a board of 81028 and 22,000 in the middle, Fernando Valverde checked from the small blind and Jose Rodriguez Zurita bet 6,500 from the cutoff. Valverde made the call.

On the 8 river Valverde shoved and Zurita, who had 22,200 behind, nearly beat him into the pot.

Valverde could only show a bluff with AK while Zurita turned over tens full of eights with 1010 to score the double up.

"Bad timing" tablemate Nacho Barbero commented as Zurita scooped the pot.
