Lin's Perfect Trap Backfires

Level 15 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Ren Lin
Ren Lin

Calvin Anderson opened 8,000 under the gun and after eying his stack, Ren Lin flatted on the button. Markkos Ladev jammed all-in from the small blind, forcing Anderson to fold quickly and Lin snap-called his stack of about 170,000.

"Oh no, you trapped me?" Asked Ladev.

"Yes," Lin responded with a chuckle as he rolled his hand.

Ren Lin: AA All in
Markkos Ladev: A5

Ladev continued, "That was the perfect trap. I didn't expect that."

The QJ4 flop gave Ladev a flush draw, and the 9 turn left Lin drawing dead. The 5 completed the board and Lin stood up as he said, "Let me get a photo for my boss. It's hard to get aces."
