Ding Throws In His Last Chip

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Biao Ding was down to just one 5,000 chip and tossed it into the middle from under the gun.

"You can make money in two players, €3,000," Malcolm Franchi told him.

"I don't care," Ding replied.

"Did you say you don't care," tablemate Joshua Hopkins added.

Mike Watson then raised to 40,000 in the cutoff and Franchi called in the big blind. Watson bet 25,000 on the Q44 flop and Franchi called.

Both players checked the 6 turn and Franchi bet 110,000 on the 8 river. Watson folded and Franchi turned over KJ for king-high. Ding mucked 52 as he headed off to the rail.

The flop came Q63 to give Kyte top pair, while Lefferts picked up a flush draw. The 10 turn gave Periaux a straight draw, and he hit one of the last kings in the deck on the K river to secure the double up off Kyte and send Lefferts to the rail.

"How a king? How many kings are there?" Kyte wondered as he paid off Periaux.

"Check how many kings there are. Three?" he joked with the dealer after the hand.
