Jeschka Trips Up Sterner For a Double

Hannes Jeschka and Ludvig Sterner were heads-up on a board of 10544 when Jeschka bet 50,000 from the big blind. Sterner then raised to 130,000 on the button, Jeschka moved all in for 270,000, and Sterner snap-called.

Jeschka showed 64 for trip fours and was ahead of Sterner's K10. The river was the A and Jeschka doubled up.

When the J66 flop hit the felt, Pustina check-raised the bet of 20,000 from Farrell to 50,000. Farrell only took a couple of seconds before mucking his hand.

Kyte Shoves on Lee

The action was picked up on the turn in a pot between Jon Kyte from the hijack and Daehyung Lee on the button.

On a board of 9532, Kyte continued for 110,000 and Lee put in the call.

The river brought the 6. Kyte used a time bank before he announced all-in for 375,000 effective as the covering stack. Lee used a time bank of his own before he reluctantly folded to concede a sizeable pot in the direction of Kyte.

Ami Barer moved all in for 55,000 from the hijack and Calvin Anderson called in the cutoff. Alejandro Lococo then reshoved in the big blind and Anderson flashed an ace as he mucked.

The 982 flop kept Lococo in the lead with a pair of nines, but Barer caught the 10 on the turn to move in front. The river was the 5 and Barer tripled up.

"It's so sick. I had 10K," he said after staying alive once more.

Hopkins Eliminates El Asmar; Short-Stacked Barer Survives

Joshua Hopkins opened 30,000 in early position and the action folded to Ami Barer in the cutoff, who used multiple time banks before calling off his last 10,000. Both Hady El Asmar and Benjamin Pollak came along from the blinds as well.

The dealer fanned a flop of 873, and once checked to, Hopkins continued for 30,000. El Asmar called and Pollak mucked his hand.

The 4 fell on the turn and El Asmar check-called another bet, this time for 75,000.

When the J completed the board, El Asmar checked for a final time and Hopkins jammed all-in. El Asmar had 115,000 and took a few moments before slamming it across the line.

Hopkins tabled AA which was good against El Asmar's 55, but Barer took down the main pot with J8, making two pair.
