Two For Kovalski

Level 15 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Fabiano Kovalski and Martin Zamani built a pot of around 120,000 as they saw the turn on a board of 7610A. Kovalski then bet 70,000 from the button and Zamani called in the big blind.

The river was the 9 and Zamani checked to Kovalski, who this time checked back. "Ace," Zamani announced, but Kovalski showed 109 for two pair to win the pot.

"That would've been fun," Zamani said after the hand.

A few hands later, Kovalski bet 85,000 on the turn with the board showing 9Q94 and Chin Wei Lim called in the big blind.

The river was the 3 and Kovalski moved all in. Lim burned through some of his time banks before folding for his last 180,000.

Suvarna Scoops Multiway Pot

Level 15 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Joris Ruijs opened from middle position to 12,000. David Coleman called on the button and Santhosh Suvarna and Choon Tong Siow defended the small and big blind.

The monotone 386 flop was checked to Ruijs who bet 12,000. Coleman folded before Suvarna made it 45,000. Siow folded but Ruijs made the call.

Suvarna check-called a 35,000 bet on the A turn. The 10 brought in a four liner to a spade flush but was checked down. Suvarna tabled K3 for a king high flush. Ruijs grimmaced before mucking his cards.

Ladva Doubles Up

Level 15 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Action folded around to Ottomar Ladva who opened from the cutoff to 25,000. Martin Zamani wasted little time in moving all in from the button. The blinds folded and Ladva made the call.

Ottomar Ladva: AKAll in
Martin Zamani: A7

"Seven is always coming" said Zamani, and he was right, the 72A flop gave him two pair. The 9 changed nothing for Ladva but the 9 river counterfeit Zamani's two pair through Ladva's king kicker which secured the double up.

Kaverman Fills Up on Barbero

Level 14 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Nacho Barbero raised to 20,000 in the hijack and Byron Kaverman called in the big blind.

Barbero continued for 15,000 on the A1010 flop and Kaverman called. The 3 turn was then checked through and the 3 fell on the river.

Kaverman then led out for 53,000 and Barbero called. Kaverman turned over A3 for a full house and Barbero mucked.

"The only way I lose that hand is if it comes three-three," Barbero said.

"How easy is it, Nacho?" Zamani said heading to the flop, which came A39 to give Zamani top pair.

The next hand, Byron Kaverman raised to 25,000 on the button and Biao Ding moved all in for 197,000 in the small blind. Barbero reshoved for 240,000 and Kaverman tanked for a few seconds before folding.

Biao Ding: A4 All in
Nacho Barbero: 77

Barbero spiked a set on the 8J7 flop and Ding headed to the rail once the 4 and 10 completed the board.

"If that hand didn't happen, you would have the same chips and no bounty," Zamani told him.
